Orion Robot Kit

Visit our sister site, ScienceTechFun.com for a robot kit, coding, Artificial Intelligence and robotics tutorials.

The video below shows our CubeSat transmitting data that is being picked up by the handheld transciever radio next to it. It has solar panels to charge its batteries. Transmits our call sign, temperature, humidity. pressure, 3-axis gyro data and images.

Details on CubeSat (here).

Fun Science (STEAM) Kits

STEAM: Science Technology Art Mathematics

Get one of our kits for $10, includes shipping from our GoFundMe (click here)

Donate $15 and we will give one to a deserving student in an underserved community.

Mini Solar System Mobile

Above is a picture of our Mini Solar System Mobile Kit, available soon. It is fun and easy to make and learn about our solar system and how the phases of the moon occur. Mobiles are 3 dimenstional, dynamic art sculptures which are interesting to see as they slowly move showing another perspective. We use this art form as a fun way to show the basic priciples of our solar system as well as making it a fun and easy, build activity.

Spool Car Racer

This is one of our STEAM kits for Pre-K and up, is the Spool Car Racer. All materials, including water colors to decorate it will be included in an afortable kit – available in weeks. We plan to have new kits each month with a subscription discount.

Detail instructions, video on how to make it will be available with an explanation of why it works which covers the basics of physics.

Our Orion Robot Kit is now available again as well as a new way, more affordable way to get started having fun with robotics. See “Our Robot Kit” section and get started.

“Our goal is to promote STEM/STEAM learning making it fun using robotics and art with inexpensive, capable, state-of-the-art components accessible to all socio-economic groups.”

Our robot bird, made of recycled cell phone, plastic, etc., reacting to movement.

Our Air Quality Monitor kit. See the Air Water Quality tab for details.

We can monitor how the fires in the West are affecting our air quality on the East Coast, providing more evidence for the need to address the global climate crisis.

  Robot “L2”

This is our large robot, made to demonstrate how techniques and the microcontrollers, computers used in our tutorials can be utilize even on big projects. Robot L2 is about 4 ft. tall, it talks, has claws to pick things up and moves on its 4 wheeled platform. It is made with recycled metal and uses the Raspberry Pi and Arduino Uno.
